What we collect
When you ask for a quote we collect the details of your trip: where and when you are traveling, your state of residence, the cost of the trip and each traveler's age. When you choose a plan we also collect each traveler's name and date of birth, your home address, and your email address and phone number.
How we use it
We send your trip details to the insurance providers we work with so they can price a plan for you, and we use your contact details to set up and service the policy you choose. If you talk to Skye, our coverage guide, what you write is used to answer you and to improve the service.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we use it to send your sign-in codes and a link to your quote. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. See our terms for more about text messages.
Cookies and measurement
The site uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as keeping you signed in. With your agreement we also use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. These record the pages you visit and the steps you take, such as starting a quote or choosing a plan. We do not send them your name, contact details, date of birth or what you write to Skye.

Who we share it with
The insurance providers shown with your quote, and the companies that host and run the site for us. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. If you have an account, you can download or delete your data from your account settings.
